Welcome to the retirees page. We hope that all of our retirees will enjoy being able to keep up with news from Calumet City no matter where you now call home.

This page lists important information about insurance coverage, pension law changes and information on special programs from the IAFF for retired members.

We have also included a directory of retired members so that you can look up old friends and see how they are enjoying their retirement. If you are interested in having your information posted on this site, please either use the E-mail response on this site or send us a letter letting us know what information you want to share with your retired and active brothers.

Some of you may also be aware that Firefighter Steve Botta and some of the other guys are involved in trying to collect and display some of the history of our Department. Many retired members have come forward with photos and memorabilia from their days on the job. We are scanning duplicates of the photos and are building a display case for some of the other items. We will return any photos after we scan them in. If you have something that you might like to share, please call the station (708) 891-8146 and let us know. You can look for some of the old photos in the future on this web site.
